When you go live, your trial environment moves to your own domain. Everything you have set up stays in place, and sending email is switched on. You do not have to wait until the end of your trial: if you are ready sooner, you go live sooner.
1. Choose your address #
Choose a subdomain, such as my.yourbusiness.com or academy.yourbusiness.com, or your main domain if your website moves into Autorespond too.
2. Order your plan #
You order your plan before going live: monthly, or yearly with two months free. Choose your plan on the pricing page and let us know through support.
3. The DNS #
We prepare the DNS settings for you. You see exactly which records your domain needs; if someone else manages your domain, forward them. As soon as the records are in place, we move your environment across and check that everything works.
4. Checklist before going live #
- Business details, sender and reply-to address are correct (step 2).
- Your sending domain is approved (step 3).
- Your forms are tested (step 5).
- Your welcome series is Active (step 6).
- With Shop: Mollie’s live key is in and you made a real test payment (step 8).
- With Website: privacy statement, terms and cookie banner are correct (step 9).
5. Straight after going live #
- Switch on two-factor authentication. Go to Administration → Security and 2FA, tick Enable two-factor authentication by email and choose the ARadmin and Editor roles. Test it in a private window: log in again and check that the code email arrives. Your current session stays open, so you do not lock yourself out.
- Sign up through your form with a different address and check that the confirmation email and your welcome series arrive.
- Build up your sending calmly, as in step 3.
Done when #
- Your plan is ordered.
- Your environment runs on your own domain.
- Two-factor authentication is on and the code email arrives.
- A test sign-up after going live came through correctly.
