Your Autorespond environment is ready. This page shows where to find what, and the best order to start in. Each step is a short article with the actions, a checklist and a button to the next step. For the details, every step points you to the full guides.
What you have #
- Your own environment. This is where you work: your contacts, emails, forms and, if you have the module, your shop, website, courses and appointments. During the trial it runs on a temporary address; when you go live it moves to your own domain.
- Support from people who can open your environment. Ask a question with the support buttons on the right of your admin environment, or see where to get help.
- This documentation. Step by step, with screenshots, and searchable.
The route #
Work through the steps in this order. Allow a few hours, spread over a few days. Steps 8 and 9 belong to the Shop and Website modules; if you do not have them, skip them or read along to see what they would do for you.
- Step 1: logging in and finding your way (10 minutes)
- Step 2: setting up your business details and sender (15 minutes)
- Step 3: your sending domain and good delivery (we do most of it)
- Step 4: moving your contacts across (30 minutes)
- Step 5: your first sign-up form (30 minutes)
- Step 6: your first automation, a welcome series (an hour)
- Step 7: sending your first newsletter (30 minutes)
- Step 8: selling your first product (an hour, with Shop)
- Step 9: your website and the modules (an afternoon, with Everything)
- Step 10: giving your team access (10 minutes)
- Step 11: going live on your own domain
- Step 12: your subscription, usage and invoices
- Step 13: getting help
Good to know during your trial #
- Your trial lasts fourteen days. All modules are switched on in your trial environment, including the ones you have not chosen (yet).
- Sending email is switched off in the trial environment, so nothing goes to your real list by accident. Check your emails with the preview.
- Switch on two-factor authentication only after you go live. It works with a login code by email, and while email is off you would lock yourself out.
- Everything you set up now stays in place when you go live.
- Coming from another system? Read the migration checklist as well.
